With JI Linea 14, Joris Ide expands its range of façade profiles with a solution that combines the warm appeal of wood with the advantages of steel. The made-to-measure profile features clean, architectural lines and gives both new and existing buildings a timeless and refined appearance.

Wood remains a popular material for façades thanks to its natural and distinctive appearance. Traditional timber cladding, however, requires regular maintenance to preserve its appearance. JI Linea 14 offers a low-maintenance alternative: the familiar look of wood combined with the weather resistance, ease of installation and long service life of pre-painted steel.

The appeal of wood, with less maintenance

Where aesthetics and ease of use come together

JI Linea 14 has been developed for projects where aesthetics and ease of use go hand in hand. The façade profile is made to measure and easy to install. Unlike traditional timber cladding, the material requires very little maintenance. There is no need for staining, varnishing or treatment with protective oil.

The pre-painted steel finish is highly weather-resistant and gives the profile a realistic wood appearance. This preserves the character of wood without the maintenance demands of the natural material.

Clean lines for a wide range of buildings

The geometry of JI Linea 14 creates a regular and contemporary pattern of lines across the façade. Thanks to its understated profile, the solution complements a wide variety of architectural styles, from modern homes and commercial buildings to rural barns and small outbuildings.

JI Linea 14 can be used for applications including:

  • exterior walls of houses, barns and commercial premises;
  • carports and canopies;
  • chalet and tiny house cladding;
  • renovation and refurbishment of existing properties.

The profile is therefore suitable for both new-build and refurbishment projects. On existing buildings, JI Linea 14 can be used to give the façade a fresh, contemporary appearance, while in new-build projects it can form part of the architectural design from the outset.

Two finishes, tailored to every project

Distinctive wood look

Two JI Nature finishes

JI Linea 14 is available as standard in two JI Nature colours, each with its own distinctive appearance.

JI Nature – Charcoal
This dark finish features a subtle wood grain and gives the façade a modern, understated appearance. Its deep colour accentuates the profile’s vertical or horizontal lines and complements both contemporary and more traditional architecture.

JI NatureBlack – Wood Heritage
This finish combines warm wood tones with black accents. The contrast between the two finishes emphasises the linear design and gives the façade a bold, architectural character.

Both finishes consist of pre-painted steel with a highly weather-resistant coating that gives the profile its distinctive wood appearance. Other colours are available on request through our sales team.

Made to measure for every project

To ensure that installation is optimally adapted to the design and dimensions of the building, JI Linea 14 is manufactured to measure. The profile is available in lengths ranging from a minimum of 400 mm to a maximum of 6,000 mm and has a maximum width of 425 mm. The option of producing lengths of up to six metres can reduce the number of overlaps and helps create a clean, refined façade finish.

Weather-resistant, recyclable and Class A fire-rated

In addition to its natural appearance and minimal maintenance requirements, JI Linea 14 offers several practical benefits. The profile is weather-resistant, 100% recyclable and has a Class A fire rating. The product is also supplied with a 10-year warranty.

With JI Linea 14, Joris Ide offers a versatile solution for anyone looking to combine the warm appeal of wood with the convenience and long service life of steel. The result is low-maintenance façade cladding with a distinctive appearance, suitable for a wide range of new-build and refurbishment applications.
