Recto Verso promotes the exchange and collaboration between companies in Bressuire in order to reduce their costs and impact on the environment. The association, chaired by Denis Bitaudeau, administrative and accounting manager at Joris Ide Atlantique in Bressuire, is now recognised at national level. Recto Verso is one of the first circular economy initiatives in rural areas.
The association takes action in a lot of different ways. Thanks to their energy management they are able to reduce electricity bills by 15%. Next to that, they promote sustainable mobility, facilitating employee travel while making it also more attractive. The association also engages in waste reduction and the circular economy.

For example, at Joris Ide Atlantique – as in other BUs of the group – we try to avoid over-packaging our products that go to construction sites. We try to use paper and cardboard as much as possible.
The activities of the Recto Verso network are beginning to yield positive results. 151 tonnes of waste have already been recycled, which represents an overall saving of €238.000 for all member companies.
The real strength of the network lies in the sharing of experiences and good practices.
Recto Verso currently has about forty members. The association turns to companies of all sizes, industrial and artisanal.
