My name is Nathalie Landreau, I'm 50 years old and I work for Joris Ide since 2006.
I have a passion for long motorcycle rides that I share with my partner. I also like DIY (furniture renovation, sewing, painting).
What is your position at Joris Ide?
I hold the position of Purchasing Coordinator at Joris Ide Atlantique.

How did you start at Joris Ide?
I started my career as a packaging manager at Pâtisserie Pasquier, working 3x8 for 8 years. Following an accounting training via the FONGECIF, I left Pasquier to work for 6 months in a public works company as a replacement for maternity leave. Finally, I joined Joris Ide Atlantique in 2006 as an administrative secretary. In 2010, I was able to move to the position of Purchasing Assistant.
How has your work evolved?
Today, I share the purchasing department with my colleague Anne-Lise, buyer for the coils and consumables part. For my part, I hold the position of Purchasing Coordinator for the trade. I manage a team consisting of a purchasing assistant, two warehouse staff and an order picker. In addition to my duties, I am also a first aid worker and a first response fire fighter.
How are your days going?
A typical day begins with preparation for the production meeting, which takes place every day at 9:00 am. We discuss the topics that have been opened since the last meeting and the day's activity. Then I take care of purchasing: price requests, search for new suppliers, negotiate prices. I follow up the activity of the stores and I supervise the purchasing staff.

At the same time, I resolve the various situations encountered during the day (validation of delivery notes, stocks, loads, invoices). The days are very busy and the schedules prepared the day before are often turned upside down: it's a job where you have to know how to adapt quickly.
What do you like most about your work?
In my job, I really enjoy negotiating with suppliers, managing the team, solving problems and finding solutions with my colleagues.
What else would you like to achieve at Joris Ide?
My objective is to have a cohesive team capable of growing the purchasing and the Joris Ide Atlantique and Joris Ide Energy stores together.
