Joris Ide is proud to have played a role in the transformation of Stone West's site in Zulte, which is specialized in natural stone, terrazzo, and ceramic tiles. The site is redesigned according to a strongly organizing principle: a functional separation between storage, production, and staff areas.

Joris Ide has been chosen as a main partner for metallic solutions on this project thanks to its full product range and local presence and reactivity. Our design for the new buildings adhered to the laws of industrial construction, with a steel structure forming the basis.

Groothandel Stone opted for profiled metal cladding for the facades of all the buildings. This approach created visual coherence between the new and existing structures, and subtle color differences and levels of detailing were used to differentiate the volumes based on their specific function.
