Can you introduce yourself in a few sentences?
My name is Angelique Lannoo, a perpetually cheerful and grinning mother of two teenagers who are the center of my universe. For the past four years, I've been working at Joris Ide, playing the role of a receptionist. During my free time, I wander countless miles on foot, go for some drinks or food with my friends. And you can also make me happy with some occasional shopping and cultural sniff-outs.

Receptionist
As I am a smooth talker, very social and patient, I can handle any situation. Having worked as a shop manager for many years, I can multi-task very well, which is absolutely necessary in this job.
How long have you been working at Joris Ide?
I have been working at Joris Ide for 4 years now.
How did you end up at Joris Ide?
After a significant fall, I found myself unable to continue with my previous job. This led me to search for a more sedentary role. I wanted to find a job that wasn't just any option but one that offered variety, within a company that values growth, improvement, and openness. It's about both the well-being of its employees and the environment, as well as embracing future advancements in all aspects.
How does a working day look like?
A workday kicks off with checking and forwarding emails. Throughout the day, I'm on the line with people from all corners of the world, tending to their needs. I guide visitors, assist job applicants in filling out their forms, and manage various tasks like handling correspondence, processing orders, receiving deliveries, reserving meeting rooms, booking hotels, arranging lunches for both visiting clients and our globetrotting colleagues. Keeping track of office supplies for JI staff is also on our to-do list, among many other things. In essence, it's a diverse role, to say the least.
What would you still like to achieve?
I absolutely adore the multifaceted nature of my current role. The interaction with customers, colleagues, and all the rest. There are always training opportunities and potential new challenges within this company, in case I ever decide to shift departments. However, as it stands, I'm thoroughly content in my position as a receptionist at JI.
