Klaus Andersen - Sales Manager Denmark
CAREER STORIES
Our Danish colleague Klaus Andersen has quite a track record when it comes to successfully identifying new market segments and building up existing market segments in Denmark. This makes him the ideal Sales Manager for his next adventure at Joris Ide. He just started his new career with us and is ready to ‘kill it’.

How will you use your previous experience in the sector for Joris Ide?
I have a deep product knowledge and understanding of the products Joris Ide offers. This is not the first time I will be focusing on sandwich panels, roof profiles, façade panels and more. Together with my colleagues I can build a strong platform and organization here in Denmark. The thing is, I have done this successfully before. I understand the market and I know its customers and the products in it. However I am humble to get the opportunity to start up this new market, as I know from first hand experience how much work and energy it takes to do this.
It’s also important to note that the Danish market is a little bit different to other countries. As a salesman in Denmark you’re more active in the whole process. You really have to be part of every aspect from start to finish.
It’s great that I will be able to use my knowledge, skills and creativity in this job while visiting customers and create successful orders where both sides are satisfied.

How have your first months with us been?
I’m now fully settled and got to know the team better, both locally and at the different business units. We’ve got a great team spirit where everyone works for the same goal. I’ve also already visited my first customers who have been very positive when I introduced Joris Ide to them. It’s important that they can see the value of our products.

What’s the main thing you want to achieve at Joris Ide?
I want us to succeed. My ambition is to really take the company and make it a fixed value in the steel construction market here in Denmark. I’m looking forward to be a part of this exiting Joris Ide journey into Denmark and the rest of Scandinavia.
